What is an NFC business card?
It is a physical card with a small NFC chip inside and a QR code on the surface. When someone taps it on their phone, a link opens. That link can be your profile, website, WhatsApp chat, LinkedIn, or Google review page.
Does the other person need an app?
No. Modern phones read NFC tags and QR codes without a separate app.
Does it work with iPhone and Android?
Yes. Most Android phones support NFC (you may need to switch it on in settings). Most iPhones from the last several years read NFC tags automatically, and older models can use the QR code instead.
What if their phone has no NFC?
Every card also carries a QR code, so they can point the camera at it and open the same link.
Can I change my details after the card is made?
The card stores a link, not your contact details. You can change what that link shows without reprinting the card, as long as the link points to a page you control.
